Graduated in Agricultural Science from the University of Bologna, and has worked as an agronomist since 1996. He is a sommelier and an expert in wine and food, teaching, lecturing and judging wine competitions internationally. He is also an expert in the sensory analysis of foods and will present his truffle sensorial analysis at the OTF for the first time anywhere in North America.
He also works as a Quality Assurance Manager and is a consultant in companies specializing in horticultural products. He writes for food and wine magazines and he is a designer and consultant for companies that develop farm holidays, educational farm holidays as well as agro and culinary tourism. He is actively involved in projects that promote and enhance the Emilia-Romagna Region and its excellence, and is a member of Mondo Tartufo, Italy’s largest truffle association. |
