The Sixth annual Oregon Truffle Festival has a range of elegant and unique Stand Alone and Weekend experiences to offer you as we bridge the Old and New Worlds of all things truffle.

We are pleased to announce the 2011 headquarters hotel is the Valley River Inn, providing free shuttle service to and from all Eugene airport flights. Most events are in and around Eugene, Oregon.
WEEKEND EXPERIENCES
Experience One: The Epicurious - $525 per person
Experience Two: The Gourmand - $625 per person
Continuing our immersion into the Slow Food experience, Saturday’s Villa Afternoon at Pfeiffer Vineyards, hosted by owners Danuta and Robin Pfeiffer, is designed to be a more leisurely, intimate gathering, so we recommend registering quickly for this elegant offering.
Experience Three: The Culinarian - $725 per person
In our third year of offering a real “hands in the food” cooking experience, participants will join award winning guest chef Pino Posteraro of Cioppino's in Vancouver, B.C. for a hands-on truffle cooking class in the culinary arts kitchen at Lane Community College. Space is limited, so sign up quickly for this one of a kind opportunity.

Experience Four: The Epicurious Harvester - $1000 per person
Select Experience One offerings plus the Truffle Dog Training Seminar. Train your dog to recognize the scent of Perigord and Oregon truffles, and then engage in the authentic experience of hunting wild truffles untouched by human hands in their natural habitat. Instructors: Jim Sanford, Blackberry Farm Resort, Walland, Tennessee, and Jean Rand, owner of Oregon’s most accomplished truffle dog. This one of a kind opportunity is limited to a maximum of 12 dogs.
Our host hotel, the Valley River Inn, is dog friendly, providing a separate area in the hotel for everyone’s comfort and enjoyment.

Select Experience One offerings plus The Truffle Growers’ Forum. The Truffle Growers' Forum is an annual gathering and focal point for the International truffle industry, featuring a range of speakers with expertise in the science of truffle cultivation, the practicalities of truffle farming, and the realities of marketing truffles. The Truffle Growers’ Forum provides growers, purveyors, researchers and journalists an opportunity to keep up with the status and methods of truffle cultivation worldwide, engage with the wealth of experts in attendance, and make essential contacts within the industry.

One Day Truffle Dog Training Demo without personal dogs - $300
Friday, January 28, 2011 — 7:30 am - 4:30 pm ONLY
Since we expect the Truffle Dog Training Seminar to be popular, but have space for only 12 dogs, we are offering an opportunity to come without your dog to attend the lectures on canine scent detection of truffles, observe hands-on training, and have questions answered by expert trainers as they work with a variety of other dogs.
Includes:
- Continental breakfast and truffle lunch - Friday
- Truffle Dog lectures, field training demonstration - Friday
- Keynote Address - Friday
- Participants in this one day event will have the opportunity to arrange follow up sessions with their dogs and one of the Seminar trainers after the festival.

REFUND POLICY: Before the first of the year, we offer full credit that may be applied towards the 2012 festival, or a 50% cash refund on all purchases. As of January 1, 2011, we offer ONLY a credit applied towards 2012, less a $160 charge for all Weekend experiences that include a Grand Truffle Dinner.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer a credit or refund for the Grand Truffle Dinner after January 1st.
