Tobi Sovak, Noisette Pastry Kitchen Eugene ORA transplant to Eugene from southern California, Tobi has worked in acclaimed restaurants on both coasts. Trained as an artist, she attended the prestigious Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and works to incorporate her artistic sensibilities into her pastry work.

After receiving her MFA in fine arts, Tobi lived in NYC, where she began her pastry career. She has also worked in San Francisco and Los Angeles before settling in Eugene, Oregon.

After several years in Eugene, working as the Pastry Chef at Marche and then at King Estate Winery, Tobi has embarked on a new project. With the help and support of her husband, King Estate’s Executive Chef, Michael Landsberg, Tobi is on the cusp of opening Noisette Pastry Kitchen in downtown Eugene.

Tobi seeks to incorporate the rich bounty of product found in the Willamette Valley into her work. She is committed to the fundamentals of her craft; the seasonal, the technical, and the whimsical.
